New award to recognise overseas doctors’ contribution to NHS

Remedium Partners, the largest recruiter of overseas doctors to the NHS, has announced that it is establishing a major awards scheme to celebrate the exceptional contribution of those who come from all over the world to support the British health service.

The Top Talent NHS Awards will have eight categories, each one focused on a particular specialty.

The judging team will include senior staff from NHS hospital trusts, clinical specialists and workforce planners.

The presentation ceremony will be held in a central London hotel. Health Secretary Matt Hancock has already accepted an invitation to present the award in one of the categories.

Remedium co-founder and director David Green said: ‘We want to celebrate the medical talent that the NHS is fortunate in attracting from all over the world. The awards presentation will be a glittering event which is bound to attract the major players from the NHS and beyond. It will be our way of saying thank you to those who choose to leave their homes and spend time making the NHS an even better place to work.’
